1. From the look of the sky, it will snow in the afternoon.

2. It 's about thirty minute's walk on foot from here to next village.

3. It takes thirty minutes to go to our university on foot

4. It takes thirty minutes to my school from my place, but I always go there on foot for exercise except on a rainy day.

5. It was quite dark when we got to the hotel. It must have been past six.

6. It will not be long before they get married.

7. It will not be long before one out of five comes to have his own car.

8. The climate of California is quite different from that of this place, isn't it? It is now warm there, I suppose.

Miracle

"miracle" is not an intimate word any more to me.
I am sure that I experienced something miraculus a few yesars back.
Miraculous thing is not a great one. It can be described as an accomplished wish.
I believed that my wish could be realize if I longed for its fruition.

Now, I don't long for anything. Actually I have no energy to desire something. Therefore my daily lives become a real one that doesn't allow fairy tales to step in.

I am getting dryer as I grow older. And that makes me sad.

1. It is difficult to solve the housing problem of seoul in a short time. However it would be a mistake to think the solution is impossibe.
2. It is my greatest pleasure to read a favorite book for at least 3 hours a day.

5. It is necessary for people who live in large cities to climb a moutain or go to a seashore from time to time in order to breathe fresh air.

8. It is natural that Korean love Korea.

English as a second language!

When I study English, I try to think how I mastered Korean.
It seems natural to speak Korean Fluently. However my Korean speaking ability is not a thing like a magic tree which doesn't need to be watered. In retro respect, I practiced Korean hard
in Elementary School with taking a lot of dictation tests and doing vocabulary homework.

Mastering English as takes times and efforts as studying Korean.

1. It is important to prepare and review our lesson at least 3 hours a day to acquire our attainments.
2. It is difficult to master English in a year or two.
3. It will not be easy to read through this book in a week or so.
4. It is better to read a few books carefully than to read many books at random.
5. It is important to form the habbit of relying on yourselves while you are still young.
6. Reading newspapers in English is absolutely necessary to keep in direct touch with the whole world.
7. It is quite impossible to describe in words how kind you were during my stay in your village.
8. It will be easy for them to learn German or French as a second language at university because they know English.

Gratitude

Gratitude has been such a powerful exercise for me. Every morning I get up and say "Thank you." Every morning, When my feet hit the floor,"Thank you." And then I start running through what I'm grateful for, as I'm brushing my teeth and doing the things I do in the morning. And I'm not just thinking about them and doing some route routine. I'm putting it out there and I'm feeling the feelings of gratitude.

I have been reading this book when I commute to work.
Gratitude is the base of happiness.
